I received Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Kit from Bzzagent and I would proudly say that,it was the best  mail I have got so far.My skin really wants to thank you Bzzagent and Burt's Bees for such an awesome skin care line.I still do not believe that it is my skin!.
I totally agree with this ,Burt's Bees has as always found a way to hydrate our skins with all natural ingredients processed in the simplest way possible. The Intense Hydration Face Care  Line ,just like the rest of the brand's products,is carefully made by the best ingredient nature has to offer, this time it is tough little plant called Clary Sage, that survives the harsh surroundings of Mediterranean hills, with its will and exceptional ability to adapt and retain moisture

  • provides intense hydration and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • leaves skin feeling  soft, supple and revitalized.
  • removes dirt ,oil and makeup
  • rinses easily without leaving residue
  • costs $9.99I have been using this cream cleanser daily,it is 1 of the best I have come across,it is white cream like cleanser as the name predicts. It has orange fragrance,it does not lather and my skin feels squeaky clean.

  • Clinically proven to provide immediate intense hydration
  • leaves skin looking revitalized
  • Easy to apply -goes on wet and stays wet ;wipe off with the tissue or wash cloth
    costs 17.99

It is  a white creamy mask, very easy to apply.I applied a thick layer on my face and left it for 10 minutes ,it was still wet ,when I washed .The first sensation was tingly and it had cooling effect. No fragrance.
As mentioned on the tube: to wipe off, use tissue or wash cloth, I think that would n't be easy as it took a little hand work and water to take it off .
my skin looked and felt refreshing.I have used this treatment mask couple of times and every time it amazes me.it makes my skin  fuller, supple and refreshed and I have noticed that my skin looks younger.

    • Replenishes moisture while you sleep -wake up to skin that feels soft, supple and revitalized
    • provides intense hydration and helps reduce the appearence of fine lines and wrinkles
    • absorbs quickly
      costs 17.99
Changing weather has adverse impact on our skins,,my skin was in a dire need of something to protect it day and night.
Thanks to Burt's Bees and Bzzagent! they came up with the perfect solution and campaign.
I used Burt's Bees intense hydration night cream with  doubts.I assumed that since it is a night cream it would be  extremely greasy,(usually all night creams are)intense hydration night cream proved me wrong ,it was not greasy or heavy on skin at all.It is a very light formula ,helping my skin moisturize and replenish all night.I am amazed how awesome it works.

When Sibu sent me their Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser  to review I was excited but a little skeptical. Other products hadn't worked for me in the past but I was willing to try it.The first thing I noticed about the Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser was the smell. It wasn't overpowering but was a nice and fresh citrusy fragrance ,it feels like you have just cut open an orange ,that  helps a lot in feeling refreshed and content. While using the  cleanser I noticed ,the grainy texture is not harsh at all,in fact it is exactly the right amount that is good and appropraite for skin, after all there are some abrasive cleansers that feel like you are rubbing a sandpaper on your skin.I was really impressed by the packaging it came in,a beautiful sleek bottle with easy to dispense pump.
After using the cleanser for the first time,I noticed it cleaned my face without over drying . It pulled away anything that would not be good for my face and left the moisture it needed. My skin felt instantly clean and quite moisturized and subtle.I never really knew what sea buckthorn is ,or it contains elusive and abundant amount of  'Omega 7' (that is amazing for skin )or  what it smells like but it actually made me think about those berries, and I felt good knowing that those humble little berries are helping my skin right now.
Unlike most cleanser gels, a little goes a long way with this one - I needed a pea-sized drop to wash my entire face and neck and even that felt like too much sometimes. My face always feels very soft and fresh afterwards, so after  a month of using it twice daily I can definitely say that this is the product I would recommend to anyone. I believe it will work well for any skin type, from the driest to the oiliest.

8 Homemade Hair Treatments

Make an all-natural remedy designed especially for your hair type

Eggs, yogurt and honey are, at first glance, all components of a tasty breakfast—but they also happen to be hair treatment ingredients, and affordable, all-natural ones at that. And they're not the only ones. Did you know, for instance, that the oils in avocados more closely resemble our own skin's oils than any product in the beauty aisle does? Or that the mild acidity in lemon is an effective—and gentler—alternative to chemical-laden products? Next time your locks need a lift, save money by using one of these kitchen fixes.
For All Hair Types
"The [raw] egg is really the best of all worlds," says Janice Cox, author of Natural Beauty at Home. The yolk, rich in fats and proteins, is naturally moisturizing, while the white, which contains bacteria-eating enzymes, removes unwanted oils, she explains.
To Use:For normal hair, use the entire egg to condition hair; use egg whites only to treat oily hair; use egg yolks only to moisturize dry, brittle hair, Cox says. Use 1/2 cup of whichever egg mixture is appropriate for you and apply to clean, damp hair. If there isn’t enough egg to coat scalp and hair, use more as needed. Leave on for 20 minutes, rinse with cool water (to prevent egg from “cooking”) and shampoo hair. Whole egg and yolks-only treatments can be applied once a month; whites-only treatment can be applied every two weeks.
For Dull Hair
Styling products (as well as air pollution) can leave a film that both saps moisture and dulls shine—but dairy products like sour cream and plain yogurt can help reverse this damage. "Lactic acid gently strips away dirt while the milk fat moisturizes," says Lisa Belkin, author of The Cosmetics Cookbook.
To Use: Massage 1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt into damp hair and let sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, followed by cool water, then shampoo hair as you normally would. Treatment can be applied every other week.
For Itchy Scalp
To fight flakes—brought on by poor diet, stress and climate, among other factors—try a lemon juice and olive oil mixture in your hair. "The acidity in lemon juice helps rid your scalp of any loose, dry flakes of skin, while the olive oil moisturizes the [newly exposed] skin on your head," says Cox.
To Use: Mix 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice, 2 Tbsp olive oil and 2 Tbsp water, and massage into damp scalp. Let mixture sit for 20 minutes, then rinse and shampoo hair. Treatment can be applied every other week.
For Limp or Fine Hair
To add body to hair, reach for an unlikely beauty beverage: Beer! !!!The fermented drink contains generous supplies of yeast, which works to plump tired tresses, explains Cox.
To Use: Mix 1/2 cup flat beer (pour beer into a container and let it sit out for a couple of hours to deplete carbonation) with 1 tsp light oil (sunflower or canola) and a raw egg. Apply to clean, damp hair, let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with cool water. Or add flat beer only to a spray bottle and spritz onto dry hair. "When the liquid evaporates, the remaining protein residue (from the wheat, malt or hops) continues to strengthen and structure hair," says Belkin. Treatments can be applied every other week.
For Dry or Sun-Damaged Hair
Whatever your hair-dehydrating demon—hard water, sun overexposure, your trusty flat iron—nature's sweetener can help. "Honey is a natural humectant, which means it attracts and locks in moisture," says Cox.
To Use: Massage approximately 1/2 cup honey into clean, damp hair, let sit for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. You can also add 1 to 2 Tbsp olive oil to loosen the honey for easier application. For extremely sun-damaged hair, trying mixing honey with 1 to 2 Tbsp of a protein-rich ingredient, like avocado or egg yolk, which will help replenish the keratin protein bonds that UV rays attack. Treatment can be applied once a month.
For Oily or Greasy Hair
"Used properly, [cornmeal or cornstarch] is an inexpensive way to remove oil and grease," says Belkin.
To Use: Pour 1 Tbsp cornmeal or cornstarch into an empty salt or pepper shaker and sprinkle onto dry hair and scalp until you’ve used it all. After 10 minutes, use a paddle hairbrush to completely brush it out. Treatment can be applied every other day.
For Frizzy Hair
Home beauty experts swear by avocado—and not just to repair damaged hair. Its oils (which are light and moist like our own natural skin secretions) and proteins boast the best combination of nutrients for smoothing and weighing down unruly hair, explains Cox.
To Use: Mash up half an avocado and massage into clean, damp hair. Let sit for 15 minutes before rinsing with water. Amp up moisturizing power by combining mashed avocado with 1 to 2 Tbsp of a hydrating ingredient, like sour cream, egg yolks or mayonnaise. Treatment can be applied every two weeks.
For Residue-Ridden Hair
"Nothing eats through product buildup like baking soda," Cox says. Sodium bicarbonate essentially breaks down anything acidic.
To Use: Mix 1 to 2 Tbsp baking soda with small amounts of water until a thick paste forms. Massage into damp hair and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with water, then shampoo hair. Treatment can be applied every two weeks.
I hope these treatments help you and make your hair the way you want it.
Do tell me which one did you try and what was the result.

My Experience With Fels Naptha Laundry Bar

My clothes are not usually that dirty but this particular pants are too long....  not only they are long they are light colored too.I first tried washing it regularly and they were still dirty,so when I got chance to try  Fels Naptha from Purex Insider,I thought of putting it to test. The result amazed me and I am extremely satisfied.

Instead of spending a bunch of money on those spray pre-treaters, try Fels Naptha Laundry bar soap . Simply wet it and rub in on the stain before washing.

sorry pic is not very clean but my pants are

Some  Uses of A Laundry Bar (Besides the Obvious)

1.Lubricate nails, screws, and saw blades. Soap on metal helps it go through wood more easily. Nails and screws go in easier and are  less likely to split the wood if they are first stuck in a bar of soap. Rubbing soap over a handsaw blade will help it cut straighter and be less resistant to the wood.

Wrap a bar of soap in a bit of cloth and use it as a pincushion. Again, the soap will act as a lubricant, making them easier to insert into fabric. 3. Instead of using store-bought marking chalk, use a sliver of bar soap to draw a line for a hem. It washes out more easily than chalk.

I love this one!!!
4.Dirty fingernail prevention. Before you do your next gardening project, scrape your fingernails over a bar of soap. The resulting soap accumulation will keep dirt from getting under your fingernails and will wash away at clean up.
Soot prevention. If you’re planning a cook out using a cast iron pot, rub a bar of soap over the bottom of the pot before you set it over the open flame. The soap will make for easy cleanup, as the soap will prevent the soot from accumulating.

The Best one
6.Insect bite anesthetic. Apparently, a dampened bar of soap rubbed on insect bites will alleviate itching. Who knew?

Purex Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets Uses and Giveaway

New improved formula with 3X the fragrance!

Who knew that one little sheet could do so much? Purex Fabric Softener Sheets don’t just reduce static cling and leave your family’s laundry soft and smelling fresh: They can also keep your whole house smelling fresh! Just choose your favorite fragrance and tuck a sheet in hampers, in the linen closets, and any other laundry storage areas.
What scents are available?

Frequently Asked Questions

  •      What’s different about these sheets vs. the old ones?
We have greatly improved our Purex Dryer Sheets, adding three times more fragrance, and great static cling reduction. The smaller box is also at a more affordable price point.
  •      Has the formula changed?
Yes, there is now more fragrance per sheet.
  •      Does it still work the same?
New Purex Dryer Sheets work even better than the 120ct versions
  •      Will these Dryer Sheets leave spots on my clothes?
When used as directed, dryer sheets should not spot your clothing. If spotting does occur, use a laundry bar soap such as Fels-Naptha, or a stain remover like Zout to treat the spots. Then rewash normally.
  •      Can I reuse my dryer sheet?
You will get better softening and static control using a new sheet with every load, as most of the active ingredients are used up in one use. Reusing a sheet will not achieve the same results, but will not damage your laundry or machine.
  •      Help! My dryer sheets are sticking together – what happened?
When dryer sheets are stored on the dryer, in the heat, or near a heat source, they can sometimes stick together. Make sure to store your dryer sheets in a cool, dry place.
  •      Can I use dryer sheets with my child’s clothes?
We do not recommend using dryer sheets or liquid fabric softeners with children’s sleepwear or other flame retardant fabrics, as ingredients in these products may reduce flame resistance. Try Purex Crystals for Baby as a safe fabric enhancer for children’s laundry.

My soft and amazingly  fresh  smelling laundry!! All thanks to Purex Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets.Just one sheet was enough for the whole load. They smelled fresh for one whole week!!!

Alternative uses of  Dryer sheets

If you find yourself with extra dryer sheets, use them throughout your home and when traveling to clean and freshen!Dryer sheets can be used in many ways than just in dryers to freshen your clothes ,some of uses mentioned below I have tried myself and some I have to try and see.

Clean Pots and PansIf you have baked on or stuck food in a pot or pan, place a dryer sheet in the pan and cover with hot water. Allow it to soak over night and then use the dryer sheet to wipe away the food the next morning.
Freshen Shoes and Boots

Add a dryer sheet to shoes and boots that have gotten a little too ripe. For kids or ladies' pumps you can cut each sheet in half and still get great results.

 Remove Pet Hair
The same properties that dryer sheets use to reduce static in the dryer also works on pet hair on furniture. Just rub the sheet over the hair to loosen it from upholstery.

Remove Static Cling

If your dress or pants leg is clinging, rub a dryer sheet on your legs, socks or stockings to get rid of static cling. No more riding up!

Scrub your showers: Lightly wet a used dryer sheet, and scrub to remove soap build-up and mineral deposits.

Freshen your home
Place (or tape) a dryer sheet on your HVAC vents to scent the air circulating through your home. You can even place one alongside your filter in your central heating unit to distribute the scent. Also works on ceiling fans, and on the back of box/portable fans
While traveling:
Place a few dryer sheets in between items in your suitcase to keep both your clothes fresh and to prevent your items from picking up any mustiness from old luggage.

 For diapers:
Keep your used dryer sheets in your diaper bag, and roll one up in the diaper to prevent odors before you have a chance to throw it away.

Clean paint brushes:
Soak your used paint brushes in warm water with a dryer sheet, and that pesky latex paint will come off in under a minute.

As you sleep:
keep a fabric-softener sheet in your pillow case and under your mattress or mattress pad for sweet dreams of summer all year ‘round
Repel rodents: Use dryer sheets to keep out mice, skunks, squirrels, rats, etc from your basement, garages, boats, campers, and clubhouses.
At work
Hide dryer sheets in drawers, behind computers, and in cabinetry to keep your work space fresh, and combat your co-workers awful perfume or stale cigarette scent.

 In you vacuum cleaner:
Place a dryer sheet in your vacuum bag or dust containment unit. As the hot air moves as you vacuum, you’ll bulk up your cleaning efforts. (Make sure this is in NO WAY
a fire hazard)

In storage:

tuck dryer sheets in your rarely used items such as luggage, camping gear, sports equipment, or specialty craft or kitchen items to prevent the inevitable smells of basements, attics, and garages.
